Apistogramma Caetei Overview The Apistogramma caetei, also known as the Caeté Dwarf Cichlid, is a stunning freshwater fish from the Amazon Basin in Brazil. These colorful, small cichlids are popular in the aquarium hobby due to their vibrant blue and yellow hues, making them a striking addition to any tank. Origin: 
Native to the slow-moving waters of the Caeté River and its tributaries in Brazil, this species thrives in densely vegetated areas with soft, acidic waters. Feeding: 
Apistogramma caetei are omnivorous and enjoy a varied diet. In the aquarium, they do well on high-quality flakes, pellets, live foods (such as brine shrimp, daphnia), and frozen foods to maintain their health and color. Tank Mates: 
Peaceful by nature, they can be housed with other small, non-aggressive species. Ideal tank mates include tetras, small rasboras, and peaceful catfish like Corydoras. Aggression: 
While generally peaceful, males may display territorial behavior, especially during breeding. Providing hiding spots and space will help reduce aggression. Experience Level:
