Assorted Apple Snails

Overview:
Apple Snails are colorful, hardy freshwater snails that add both charm and activity to aquariums. Known for their large shells and unique movement, they help control algae and clean up leftover food.

Origin:
Native to South and Central America, commonly found in slow-moving rivers, ponds, and wetlands.

Feeding:
Omnivores that eat vegetables (zucchini, spinach), algae wafers, sinking pellets, and occasional protein-based foods.

Tank Mates:
Peaceful and compatible with community fish, shrimp, and other non-aggressive species. Avoid predatory fish that may nip at or eat them.

Aggression:
Completely non-aggressive.

Experience Level:
Ideal for beginner aquarists — hardy, low-maintenance, and easy to care for.

Water Parameters:

• Temperature: 68–82°F (20–28°C)

• pH: 7.0–8.0 (slightly alkaline helps maintain shell health)

• Hardness: 6–18 dGH

• Minimum Tank Size: 10+ gallons

Peaceful, hardy, and colorful — Assorted Apple Snails make an excellent addition to freshwater aquariums.
