Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, these cichlids enjoy a diverse diet consisting of high-quality pellets or flakes supplemented with occasional live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms. Providing variety is key to ensuring their optimal health and vibrant colors. Tank Mates: Best suited for community tanks with other Tanganyikan cichlid species of similar size and temperament. Careful selection of tank mates is crucial to avoid territorial disputes, especially considering their preference for defending specific territories within the tank.
