Feeding

• Occasional protein-rich foods such as finely chopped frozen foods

Tank Mates

• Best kept with other Tropheus or robust, similarly sized Tanganyikan cichlids

• Avoid slow-moving or delicate species

Aggression

• Semi-aggressive; highly territorial within groups

• Maintain in colonies to reduce stress and aggression

Intermediate to advanced – requires stable water parameters and careful diet management
