Black Bumble Bee Jelly Catfish Batrochoglanis Raninus 5cm "Originating from the Amazon Basin, the Black Bumble Bee Jelly Catfish, Batrochoglanis raninus, is a stunning addition to any aquarium. With its sleek black body adorned with vibrant yellow markings resembling a bumblebee, this catfish captivates with its unique appearance. Known for its peaceful demeanor, it thrives in a calm community tank setting with similarly sized companions. Feeding on a diet of omnivorous fare, they readily accept high-quality sinking pellets, frozen or live foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp. Their gentle nature makes them an excellent fit for community tanks, ideally paired with non-aggressive species that won't outcompete them for food. For optimal care, a moderately experienced aquarist would find delight in maintaining these catfish. They prefer soft, slightly acidic water conditions with a pH range between 6.5 to 7.5 and temperatures spanning 72°F to 78°F.
