Black Ice Snowflake Clownfish – Amphiprion ocellaris

Overview:
The Black Ice Snowflake Clownfish is a striking designer variant of the classic Ocellaris Clownfish. It features a dark, almost black base body accented with irregular white “snowflake” patterns, giving each fish a truly unique and dramatic appearance. Hardy and active, it is a standout addition to any reef aquarium.

Origin:
Captive-bred variant of the Indo-Pacific Ocellaris Clownfish, originally from coral reefs in Southeast Asia and the central Pacific.

Feeding:
Omnivorous – thrives on high-quality pellets, flakes, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Regular feeding promotes vivid coloration and overall health.

Tank Mates:
Peaceful and reef-safe, compatible with other small, non-aggressive fish. Can host in anemones, though not required for survival.

Aggression:
Generally peaceful, though may exhibit mild territorial behavior around a host or breeding site.

Experience Level:
Beginner to intermediate aquarists – hardy, adaptable, and suitable for both community and reef aquariums.
