Its diet should include vitamin-enriched frozen mysis shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, and other meaty foods along with high-quality marine flake and marine pellet food.

Suitable Tank Mates and Aggression Level

This species should be introduced in groups of three or more and is generally peaceful with other tank mates. It is important to note that due to potential aggression, it's best not to mix the Black Leopard Wrasse with other species of the Macropharyngodon genus. If combined with other genera, it's advisable to add this species last.
