Origin: Originating from South America, particularly in the river basins of Brazil, these tetras thrive in environments with slow-moving waters and densely vegetated areas. Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, they readily accept a varied diet consisting of high-quality flakes, pellets, live, or frozen foods such as bloodworms, daphnia, and brine shrimp. Tank Mates: Known for their peaceful temperament, Black Line Tail Tetras coexist harmoniously with other peaceful community fish like other tetras, rasboras, peaceful dwarf cichlids, and small catfish species. Aggression: These tetras are non-aggressive, making them ideal inhabitants for community tanks. They thrive in groups and display their best behavior in a well-populated environment.
