Blue Carbon Shrimp Neocaridina 2cm Overview: The Blue Carbon Shrimp, a captivating variant of Neocaridina, showcases stunning shades of blue, adding an exquisite touch to any freshwater aquarium. Renowned for its vibrant coloration and ease of care, this shrimp is a delightful addition to hobbyist tanks. Origin: Originating from selective breeding programs, this variant has been developed to accentuate its striking blue hue. Known for its hardiness, it thrives in stable freshwater environments. Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, these shrimp eagerly graze on biofilm, algae, and detritus. Supplement their diet with quality shrimp-specific food or blanched vegetables like spinach and zucchini for optimal health and color vibrancy. Tank Mates: Peaceful and best kept in groups, Blue Carbon Shrimp coexist harmoniously with similarly tranquil tank mates such as small fish like endlers, rasboras, or non-aggressive dwarf shrimp species. Aggression: Exhibiting minimal aggression, these shrimp are non-confrontational and contribute positively to a community tank environment. Experience Level: Suitable for aquarists of all skill levels, including beginners, due to their adaptability and ease of care. Water Parameters: Ideal water conditions include a pH range of 6.5-7.5, temperatures around 68-78°F (20-26°C), and moderately hard water with stable parameters.
