Blue Diamond Shrimp Neocaridina 2cm "Blue Diamond Shrimp (Neocaridina) are stunning freshwater invertebrates cherished for their vibrant blue coloration. Originating from selective breeding programs, these shrimp exhibit a captivating hue that enhances any aquarium. Their origins trace back to Asia, primarily Taiwan and Japan. Feeding these shrimp is straightforward as they thrive on a varied diet, including algae-based foods, blanched vegetables like zucchini or spinach, and specialized shrimp pellets. Maintaining a balanced diet ensures their health and color vibrancy. They are peaceful creatures, making excellent tank mates for other non-aggressive community fish, snails, and peaceful dwarf shrimp species. Avoid housing them with larger, predatory fish to ensure their safety. Blue Diamond Shrimp are generally non-aggressive and easy to care for, making them suitable for aquarists of all experience levels. However, a well-established aquarium with stable water parameters is crucial. Maintain temperatures between 68°F to 78°F (20°C to 26°C) and a pH level around 6.5 to 7.5, with stable water parameters for their optimal health and coloration."
