Overview:
The Caribbean Redtail Trigger is a striking, peaceful marine fish, recognized for its silver-gray body contrasted by a vibrant red tail. Its calm demeanor and bold coloration make it a standout addition to large reef or mixed-species aquariums.

Origin:
Native to the Western Atlantic, including the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico, typically inhabiting coral reefs and drop-offs.

Feeding:
Omnivorous – thrives on a diet of meaty foods such as shrimp, small fish, squid, and other protein-rich marine preparations, supplemented with high-quality marine pellets or flakes.

Tank Mates:
Ideal for peaceful to moderately semi-aggressive tank mates. Its calm nature makes it suitable for mixed-species reef aquariums.

Aggression:
Generally peaceful – non-territorial and reef-safe with appropriately sized tank mates.

Experience Level:
Intermediate aquarists – requires a mature, stable aquarium with good water quality and ample swimming space.
