Christmas Nano Goby (Elacatinus multifasciatus)

Overview:
The Christmas Nano Goby is a tiny, peaceful marine goby with distinctive red and white banding reminiscent of holiday colors. Perfect for nano and small reef tanks, it adds subtle color and lively behavior to the lower regions of the aquarium.

Origin:
Native to the Western Atlantic, including the Caribbean Sea, typically found on coral reefs and rubble substrates.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feeds on small crustaceans, detritus, and microfauna. In captivity, readily accepts brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality flake or pellet foods.

Tank Mates:
Peaceful and reef-safe. Compatible with small, non-aggressive fish and invertebrates. Avoid large, aggressive tank mates.

Aggression:
Non-aggressive and shy; often retreats into crevices or substrate when disturbed.

Experience Level:
Beginner to intermediate. Hardy and adaptable, requiring a mature tank with hiding places and stable water parameters.

Water Parameters:

• Temperature: 72–78°F (22–25.5°C)

• pH: 8.1–8.4

• Salinity: 1.023–1.025

• dKH: 8–12
