DaVinci Clownfish – Amphiprion ocellaris
Overview:
The DaVinci Clownfish is a stunning designer variant of the classic Ocellaris Clownfish, featuring a bright orange body with unique, irregular white markings reminiscent of abstract art. Each individual displays a one-of-a-kind pattern, making it a standout addition to any reef aquarium.
Origin:
Captive-bred variant of the Indo-Pacific Ocellaris Clownfish, originally from coral reefs and lagoons across Southeast Asia and the central Pacific.
Feeding:
Omnivorous – accepts a variety of foods including high-quality pellets, flakes, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Regular feeding supports vibrant coloration and overall health.
Tank Mates:
Peaceful and reef-safe, compatible with other small, non-aggressive fish. Can host in anemones, though this is optional.
Aggression:
Generally peaceful, though may exhibit mild territorial behavior around a host or breeding site.
Experience Level:
Beginner to intermediate aquarists – hardy, adaptable, and ideal for both community and reef aquariums.
