Dennerle Crystal Quartz Gravel Dark Brown is a natural-looking brown gravel suitable for freshwater aquariums. Although it can be used alone, this gravel can also be layered on top of a plant nutrient substrate.

This gravel is also available in Diamond Black, Natural White and Roe Brown.

The 1-2 mm grain size benefits the tank as it offers an optimal settlement area for the useful cleaning bacteria. The gravel will not change the water values due to it being hardness-free and water-neutral. 

This gravel is guaranteed to be free of pollutants, and the small grain size is perfect for bottom-dwelling fish, as there is less chance dirt will get into gaps. Grains are also rounded, which protects the barbels of bottom-dwelling Catfish like Corydoras.
