Overview: Evelyn's Corydoras Evelinae, known for their striking patterns and graceful movements, are a captivating addition to any freshwater tank. Origin: These charming Corydoras are native to the clear, slow-moving waters of the Amazon River and its tributaries. Originating from regions with sandy substrates and abundant vegetation, they thrive in well-maintained aquariums that replicate their natural habitat. Feeding: Evelinae Corydoras are omnivores, relishing a varied diet that includes high-quality sinking pellets, flakes, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp or bloodworms. Providing a balanced diet ensures their vibrant colors and overall well-being. Tank Mates: Known for their peaceful nature, Evelyn's Corydoras Evelinae make excellent community fish. They harmonize well with other peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and dwarf cichlids. Avoid aggressive tank mates to ensure a serene and stress-free environment for these charming creatures. Water Parameters: Maintaining optimal water conditions is key to the health of Evelyn's Corydoras Evelinae. Aim for a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.5-7.5), a temperature range of 72-78°F (22-26°C), and ensure good water quality with regular water changes. Soft to moderately hard water is preferred, mirroring their native Amazonian habitat.
