Fire Green Shrimp Neocaridina 2cm Overview: The Fire Green Shrimp, a vibrant variant of Neocaridina, captivates with its striking green hue and fiery accents, making it a delightful addition to any freshwater aquarium. Origin: Originating from selective breeding of Neocaridina davidi, these shrimp thrive in freshwater environments, displaying robustness and adaptability. Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, these shrimp eagerly graze on algae, biofilm, and organic matter. Supplement their diet with quality shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables like zucchini or spinach, and occasional treats of protein-rich foods like bloodworms or brine shrimp. Tank Mates: Peaceful and non-aggressive, Fire Green Shrimp cohabit well with similarly peaceful species such as small fish like tetras, rasboras, or snails. Avoid housing them with larger, predatory fish that might view them as a snack. Aggression: These shrimp are non-aggressive and generally exhibit harmonious behavior within their community tank. Experience Level: Suitable for aquarists of varying experience levels, including beginners, due to their hardiness and ease of care. Regular water quality checks and a well-established tank are essential for their thriving environment. Water Parameters: Maintain stable water conditions with temperatures ranging from 65°F to 78°F (18°C to 25°C), pH between 6.5 to 7.5, and moderate hardness (GH 6-8, KH 3-5).Above images for illustration purposes only.
