Overview:
The Platinum Super Red Flowerhorn is a high-end, show-quality strain prized for its intense, vibrant red coloration, prominent nuchal hump (kok), and dense pearling across the body. Known for its bold personality and striking appearance, this strain is a captivating centerpiece in any aquarium.

Origin:
Developed through selective breeding of Super Red and Luohan lines in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam, focusing on vivid red pigmentation, pearling quality, and kok prominence.

Feeding:

• Staple: Premium Flowerhorn pellets for growth, coloration, and health.

• Supplements: Shrimp, krill, bloodworms, and spirulina-based foods to maintain rich red hues and pearling.

• Routine: Feed 2–3 times daily in small portions to prevent overfeeding.

Tank Mates:

• Best kept alone due to territorial behavior.

• Can cohabit with other large, aggressive cichlids in partitioned tanks.

Aggression:
Highly territorial and dominant. Thrives as a solo display fish.

Experience Level:
Intermediate to Advanced. Recommended for aquarists familiar with large cichlids or Flowerhorns.
