Overview:
The Full Pearl Chinese Zhen Zhu Flowerhorn is a highly sought-after variety of Flowerhorn cichlid, admired for its intense pearling across the body, vibrant coloration, and distinctive nuchal hump (kok). This ornamental fish is a true showpiece, bred for its beauty, strength, and bold personality.

Origin:
A selectively bred hybrid cichlid developed in Asia, with the Zhen Zhu line originating in China and now popular worldwide among Flowerhorn enthusiasts.

Feeding:
Carnivorous and omnivorous – thrives on a high-quality pellet diet, supplemented with frozen or live foods such as krill, bloodworms, shrimp, and occasional vegetables. A varied diet enhances coloration and kok growth.

Tank Mates:
Best kept alone or in very large aquariums with other large, aggressive cichlids. Not recommended for community setups due to territorial aggression.

Aggression:
Very aggressive and territorial. Known for dominance and should not be housed with small or timid fish.

Experience Level:
Intermediate to Advanced. Requires a large tank, strong filtration, and regular maintenance to thrive. Flowerhorns are hardy but need consistent care for optimal coloration and health.

• pH: 7.4–8.0

• Hardness: 8–20 dGH

• Minimum Tank Size: 75 gallons for a single specimen
