Flowerhorn Cichlid – Full Pearl Super Red Dragon

Overview:
The Full Pearl Super Red Dragon is one of the most striking Flowerhorn strains, combining intense red body coloration with a heavy, full pearling pattern that covers nearly the entire body and face. This strain is bred for vibrancy, strong kok (head hump) development, and balanced body structure, making it a true centerpiece fish for any Flowerhorn enthusiast.

Origin:
Selective breeding of Red Dragon and Zhen Zhu Pearl lines, refined in Thailand and Malaysia, with the aim of producing deep red tones and complete pearling.

Feeding:

• Staple: Premium Flowerhorn pellets that enhance kok growth and coloration.

• Supplements: Krill, shrimp, and bloodworms for color enhancement; spirulina-based foods for maintaining health.

• Routine: 2–3 small feedings daily.

Tank Mates:

• Best kept alone due to high aggression.

• Only possible companions are large, aggressive cichlids in very spacious, divided setups.

Aggression:
Highly aggressive and territorial. This fish will actively claim its space and challenge any tank mate.

Experience Level:
Intermediate to Advanced. Best for keepers with prior experience handling large, aggressive cichlids.
