Overview:
The Full Pearl Vietnamese Blue Flowerhorn is a striking hybrid cichlid admired for its intense metallic blue coloration and dense pearling that covers the entire body. This variety is especially popular with collectors who value full-body shine, vivid red eyes, and a well-developed kok (nuchal hump). Vietnamese breeders are known for producing some of the most vibrant and hardy Flowerhorn strains, and the Full Pearl Blue is one of their finest creations.

Origin:
Selective hybrid line developed in Vietnam, bred from high-quality Flowerhorns emphasizing dense pearling, strong body shape, and iridescent blue tones.

Feeding:

• Staple diet: High-protein Flowerhorn pellets formulated for kok growth and color enhancement.

• Supplements: Krill, bloodworms, shrimp, and occasional leafy greens to maintain digestion and boost natural shine.

• Feed in small controlled portions to prevent obesity and maintain water quality.

Tank Mates:
Best kept solo. May coexist with other large, aggressive cichlids if provided with ample space and territories, but compatibility is limited due to its territorial nature.

Aggression:
Highly aggressive and dominant. Like most Flowerhorns, the Full Pearl Vietnamese Blue will defend its territory fiercely, making it unsuitable for peaceful community tanks.

Experience Level:
Intermediate to Advanced. While hardy, these fish demand excellent filtration, consistent water changes, and a large tank to thrive.

• pH: 7.4–8.0

• Hardness: 8–20 dGH

• Minimum Tank Size: 75+ gallons for a single adult specimen
