Ghost Gold Butterfly Koi Carp (Cyprinus carpio)

Overview:
The Ghost Gold Butterfly Koi is a beautiful ornamental koi with a subtle, pale gold body and long, flowing fins. Its soft metallic sheen and graceful swimming make it an elegant centerpiece in any pond.

Origin:
Developed in Japan, this variety is selectively bred for its delicate golden coloration and butterfly fins, combining refinement with the classic elegance of koi.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for community ponds.

Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, though proper pond size and filtration are essential for optimal health.
