Golfodulcean Poison Frog Phyllobates Vittatus 5cm Overview: The Golfodulcean Poison Frog, known for its striking appearance and vibrant colors, is a captivating addition to any vivarium. Originating from the lush rainforests of Costa Rica and Panama, these small-sized frogs boast a mix of black and bright yellow stripes along their sleek bodies, making them an eye-catching display species. Feeding: Their diet primarily consists of small insects like fruit flies, pinhead crickets, and springtails. Providing a varied diet rich in calcium and essential nutrients is crucial for their well-being. Tank Mates: Given their territorial nature, it's advisable to keep Golfodulcean Poison Frogs in pairs or small groups within a well-planted vivarium. Peaceful, non-aggressive tank mates such as small dart frogs or certain species of peaceful invertebrates can coexist harmoniously. Aggression: While generally not aggressive toward their own kind, establishing ample hiding spots and space within the tank helps reduce potential conflicts among multiple frogs. Experience Level: Intermediate to experienced amphibian keepers are recommended for caring for Golfodulcean Poison Frogs.
