Origin: Hailing from the waters of South America, particularly the Amazon River basin and its tributaries, the Green Needle Pike thrives in warm, slightly acidic waters abundant in lush vegetation. Feeding: A carnivorous predator by nature, these pikes relish a diet comprising live or frozen meaty foods. Offering a variety of small fish, shrimp, and occasional supplements like high-quality pellets or flakes enriched with protein ensures their optimal health and vibrancy. Tank Mates: Careful selection of tank mates is vital due to the Green Needle Pike's predatory instincts. Ideal companions include larger, robust species that can withstand their occasional aggressive behavior. Avoid keeping them with smaller fish that might be viewed as prey.
