Greshoff Catfish Synodontis Greshoffi 5cm Overview: The Synodontis Greshoffi, or Greshoff Catfish, is a captivating species known for its unique appearance and peaceful demeanor. Origin: Native to the Congo River Basin in Africa, the Greshoff Catfish thrives in river environments. They are adapted to a range of water conditions, making them a resilient addition to the home aquarium. Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, the Greshoff Catfish's diet should include a variety of foods. High-quality sinking pellets, frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, and vegetable matter will keep them healthy and vibrant. They are nocturnal feeders, so feeding them in the evening is ideal. Tank Mates: This species is generally peaceful and can coexist with many other fish of similar size. Ideal tank mates include African cichlids, larger tetras, and barbs. Avoid smaller, more delicate fish that the catfish might accidentally harm. Aggression: The Greshoff Catfish is known for its peaceful nature but can become territorial with other bottom-dwellers.
