Overview
The Hair Thorn Nerite Snail is a unique and attractive Nerite variety recognised by its dark shell often adorned with thin, thorn-like or bristle-patterned markings. Highly efficient at algae removal, it is prized for keeping glass, rocks, and plants clean without harming live plants or overpopulating.
Origin
Found across Southeast Asia in freshwater and mildly brackish habitats such as rivers, streams, and mangrove edges.

An exceptional algae grazer that naturally consumes:

Supplement lightly with algae wafers or blanched vegetables in very clean tanks.
