Hariwake Butterfly Classic Koi Carp are elegant ornamental koi known for their long, flowing butterfly fins and striking metallic white or platinum bodies accented with yellow or orange patterns. Japan – selectively bred for ornamental ponds

Feeding

• Omnivorous: thrives on high-quality koi pellets, flakes, and occasional vegetables or live foods

• Feed 1–2 times daily in moderation

Tank / Pond Requirements

• Suitable for outdoor ponds or very large indoor aquariums

• Minimum pond volume: 1,000 litres for adult specimens

• Requires strong filtration and good water circulation

Aggression

• Peaceful and social

• Best kept with other calm koi and large peaceful pond fish

Experience Level

Intermediate – suitable for keepers with established pond systems
