Japan – selectively bred ornamental koi

Feeding

• Omnivorous: high-quality koi pellets, supplemented with vegetables and occasional live or frozen foods

• Feed 1–2 times daily, adjusting amounts with water temperature

Tank / Pond Requirements

• Best suited for outdoor ponds or very large indoor systems

• Requires excellent filtration and good water circulation

• Plenty of open swimming space is essential

Aggression

• Peaceful and social

• Compatible with other koi varieties and large, non-aggressive pond fish

Experience Level

Intermediate – suitable for keepers with basic koi or pond care experience
