• 3g for every 1l water. This creates a 0.3% concentration and is best used to minimise fish stress factors and promote your fish's health.
• 9g for every 1l water. This creates a 0.9% concentration and is best used as a series of medical treatments to prevent the growth and spread of diseases within your tank over a short period.

The first two concentrations can just be weighed out and added to your water about once a month. However, the 0.9% concentration must be split into two or three doses and added to your water over a few days, to avoid a sharp rise in salinity. A 0.9% concentration should only be maintained for around 2 weeks before being slowly reduced as it can affect the health of aquatic plants over time.
