Joculator Dwarf Angelfish – Centropyge joculator
Overview:
The Joculator Angelfish is a rare and vibrant dwarf angel, displaying a striking golden-yellow body with a deep blue back and tail. Its unique coloration and active personality make it a prized showpiece in marine aquariums.
Origin:
Native to the Cocos-Keeling Islands and Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean.
Feeding:
Omnivorous – enjoys a diet of marine algae, spirulina, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and high-quality frozen or prepared angelfish foods. Supplement with nori sheets to enhance health and color.
Tank Mates:
Compatible with a variety of peaceful to semi-aggressive fish. Best kept singly unless housed in a very large aquarium. May nip at LPS corals, zoanthids, or clam mantles, so caution is advised in reef tanks.

Semi-aggressive – can be territorial, especially with other dwarf angelfish.
Experience Level:
Intermediate to advanced – hardy once settled but thrives best in a mature aquarium with ample live rock for grazing.
