Origin: Native to the fast-flowing rivers and streams of South America, the L2 Tiger Pleco has adapted to thrive in environments with strong current and abundant hiding spots. Their natural habitat spans across the Amazon Basin, where they graze on wood and algae. Feeding: L2 Tiger Plecos are primarily wood-eaters but will benefit from a varied diet. High-quality sinking pellets, algae wafers, and occasional fresh vegetables such as zucchini or cucumber should be provided. It's crucial to include driftwood in their diet for digestive health. Tank Mates: They are generally peaceful and can be housed with a wide range of tank mates. Ideal companions include small to medium-sized tetras, rasboras, and other peaceful community fish.
