Overview: The L260 Queen Arabesque Pleco boasts a striking black and white pattern, resembling intricate arabesque designs, which helps it stand out in any aquarium. Typically, they grow to about 3.5 to 4 inches (9-10 cm) in length, making them a manageable size for most aquariums. Origin: Native to the fast-flowing rivers and tributaries of the Amazon Basin in South America, the L260 thrives in environments with strong water flow and plenty of hiding spots. Feeding: Primarily omnivorous, the L260 Queen Arabesque Pleco enjoys a varied diet consisting of algae, vegetable matter, and occasional protein sources like brine shrimp or bloodworms. High-quality sinking pellets formulated for bottom-dwellers can also make an excellent staple food. Tank Mates: This species is best suited to share a tank with small to medium-sized, peaceful fish.
