Origin: Native to the fast-flowing, rocky rivers of Brazil, the L354 Big Spot Polka Dot Pleco thrives in environments that mimic its natural habitat. Originating from the Xingu River basin, it is accustomed to clear waters with a strong current and plenty of hiding spots. Feeding: Primarily a bottom-feeder, the L354 Pleco has a diet that consists of algae, biofilm, and detritus in the wild. In captivity, they should be provided with a variety of foods including high-quality sinking pellets, blanched vegetables, and occasional meaty foods like bloodworms to ensure a balanced diet. Tank Mates: When selecting tank mates for the L354 Pleco, opt for peaceful to semi-aggressive fish that thrive in similar water conditions.
