Leaf Scorpion Fish Taenianotus Triacanthus 8cm "Discover the mesmerizing Leaf Scorpion Fish (Taenianotus triacanthus), a master of camouflage and beauty. Originating from the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific, this species boasts stunning leaf-like appendages and intricate patterns, blending seamlessly with its surroundings. Feeding on small crustaceans and fish, providing a diet of live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and small feeder fish is essential for their well-being. While peaceful towards most tank mates, caution is advised when housing with smaller fish, as they may be seen as potential prey. Their passive demeanor makes them compatible with other non-aggressive species in a properly sized tank. As ambush predators, they tend to wait for food rather than actively hunt, making them a fascinating addition for intermediate to experienced aquarists. Maintaining stable water parameters‚temperature between 72-78‚°F (22-26‚°C), pH around 8.1-8.4, and moderate water flow‚is crucial for their health and longevity. Enigmatic and alluring, the Leaf Scorpion Fish is an enchanting choice for enthusiasts seeking a captivating addition to their marine aquarium."
