Overview:
The Lightning Maroon Clownfish is a stunning and rare designer variant of the classic Maroon Clownfish, featuring striking white “lightning bolt” patterns across its deep maroon body. Known for its bold coloration and captivating personality, this species is a showpiece in any reef aquarium.

Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, primarily around Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, inhabiting coral reefs and lagoons.

Feeding:
Omnivorous – thrives on a varied diet of high-quality pellets, flakes, frozen mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Multiple feedings per day help maintain vibrant coloration and overall health.

Tank Mates:
Best kept in species-only or carefully selected community setups. Can coexist with peaceful, larger reef fish but may show territorial behavior toward smaller or similar-shaped fish. Compatible with anemones, though not required.

Aggression:
Moderately aggressive – more territorial than typical clownfish species, especially around a host anemone or defined area of the tank.

Experience Level:
Intermediate to advanced aquarists – hardy but requires stable water conditions, proper diet, and careful management of tank mates.
