Malebo Ocellated Freshwater Congo Puffer Fish Tetradon Duboisi 5cm Overview: The Malebo Ocellated Freshwater Congo Puffer Fish, known for its striking appearance and vibrant ocelli markings, is a captivating addition to any freshwater aquarium. Origin: Hailing from the Congo River basin, this species inhabits slow-moving waters rich in vegetation. They thrive in environments with ample hiding spots and a mix of open spaces for exploration. Feeding: These puffers have a carnivorous palate, relishing live and frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, snails, and small crustaceans. They'll also appreciate occasional treats like quality pellet or flake food. Tank Mates: Best kept in a species-specific tank or with peaceful, non-aggressive companions. Avoid housing them with fin-nipping or aggressive species. Due to their shy nature, they may feel stressed with overly active tank mates.
