Feeding: Primarily a detritivore, the Marbled Whiptail's diet consists of biofilm, algae, and small invertebrates. In captivity, they should be provided with a variety of foods, including algae wafers, sinking pellets, and occasional offerings of fresh vegetables to ensure optimal health and coloration. Tank Mates: Ideal for community tanks, they coexist peacefully with most fish. Suitable companions include small to medium-sized tetras, rasboras, and other peaceful bottom dwellers. Avoid overly aggressive species that may stress or harm these gentle whiptails. Aggression: Known for their tranquil disposition, Marbled Whiptails display little to no aggression. They are more likely to be on the receiving end of bullying from larger or more territorial tank mates. Experience Level: Intermediate.
