The Masked Swallowtail Angelfish is a striking reef-safe species, with males showcasing bold black vertical bars across a silvery body and females displaying a golden-yellow hue with a dark eye mask. Active, peaceful, and hardy, this angelfish is an excellent choice for reef and community setups.
Origin:
Native to the Western Pacific Ocean, particularly around Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
Feeding:
Omnivorous — thrives on a diet of high-quality marine pellets, spirulina, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and chopped seafood, with frequent algae-based foods.
Tank Mates:
