Metallic Gold Grade A Koi Carp (Cyprinus carpio)

Overview:
The Metallic Gold Grade A Koi is a breathtaking ornamental koi prized for its deep golden coloration and brilliant metallic sheen. Carefully selected for superior quality, body shape, and colour intensity, this koi brings elegance and visual impact to any premium pond setting.

Origin:
Originating from Japan, metallic koi varieties are bred for their luminous scales and strong pigmentation. The Grade A classification reflects exceptional quality, clarity of colour, and refined body structure.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality, color-enhancing koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, making it ideal for mixed koi ponds.

Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, thriving in well-maintained ponds with adequate space and stable water quality.

• Temperature: 10–25°C (50–77°F)

• pH: 6.5–8.5

• Water Type: Freshwater

• Minimum Pond Size: 1,000+ gallons recommended
