Metallic Orange Butterfly Grade A Koi Carp (Cyprinus carpio)

Overview:
The Metallic Orange Butterfly Grade A Koi is a premium ornamental koi featuring a vibrant orange body with a radiant metallic sheen and long, flowing butterfly fins. Selected for superior coloration, body shape, and finnage, this Grade A koi is a striking focal point in any high-quality pond.

Origin:
Originating from Japan, metallic butterfly koi are selectively bred for their reflective scales, elegant fins, and refined coloration. The Grade A classification ensures exceptional quality and visual appeal.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality, color-enhancing koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for mixed koi ponds.

Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, thriving in clean, well-maintained ponds with adequate space and stable water conditions.

• Water Type: Freshwater

• Minimum Pond Size: 1,000+ gallons recommended
