This small, peaceful catfish reaches an adult size of about 4 inches, making it an ideal choice for community aquariums. Its mottled brown and cream coloration allows it to blend seamlessly into a variety of aquarium settings. Origin: Native to the freshwater rivers and floodplains of Central Africa, particularly in the Congo Basin, this species thrives in environments with plenty of hiding spots and a soft, sandy substrate. Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, the Mottled Upside Down Catfish is not a picky eater. A diet of high-quality sinking pellets or wafers, supplemented with live or frozen foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp, will ensure optimal health and coloration.
