Chalinochromis ndoboi Scientific Name: Chalinochromis ndoboi Common Names: Ndoboi Chalinochromis, Ndoboi Cichlid Overview Chalinochromis ndoboi is a relatively lesser-known but striking cichlid species native to Lake Tanganyika in East Africa. Known for its peaceful temperament and beautiful appearance, this species features bright coloration with shades of yellow and blue. Like many cichlids from Lake Tanganyika, Chalinochromis ndoboi thrives in well-planted aquariums with plenty of rockwork to mimic its natural habitat. It is a peaceful fish that does well in a community setup, especially with other similarly sized and peaceful Tanganyikan species.
