They will readily accept a variety of foods including live or frozen prey such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and small fish, as well as high-quality carnivorous pellets. Feeding should be done in the evening or at night, as they are nocturnal hunters. Tank Mates: Choosing the right tank mates for Ornate Bichirs is crucial due to their predatory nature.
