Feeding: Penang Eruption Discus are omnivores with a penchant for high-quality flake food, pellets, and frozen or live foods. To enhance their coloration and promote optimal health, supplement their diet with a variety of protein-rich options. Tank Mates: Known for their peaceful nature, Penang Eruption Discus coexist harmoniously with other calm and non-aggressive species. Optimal tank mates include tetras, rasboras, and peaceful bottom-dwellers. Avoid pairing them with aggressive or fin-nipping fish to ensure a tranquil environment. Aggression: With a mild temperament, Penang Eruption Discus are generally non-aggressive. However, it's crucial to provide them with ample hiding spaces and territory to reduce stress and minimize potential conflicts.
