Pink Scooter Blenny – Synchiropus stellatus

Overview:
The Pink Scooter Blenny is a small, vibrant marine fish with a striking pink body patterned with subtle blue and yellow markings. Known for its unique movement along the substrate and rockwork, it is a visually captivating addition to reef aquariums.

Origin:
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea.

Feeding:
Carnivorous — requires live or frozen foods such as copepods, amphipods, brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp. Regular feeding of live foods ensures optimal health, as they rarely accept prepared foods.

Tank Mates:
Best suited for peaceful reef and community tanks, compatible with non-aggressive fish like gobies, blennies, and clownfish. Avoid housing with larger, predatory fish that may see it as prey.

Aggression:
Peaceful, but may compete with other substrate-dwelling fish for food.

Experience Level:
Recommended for advanced aquarists, due to its specialized feeding requirements and sensitivity to water quality.

• pH: 8.1–8.4

• Salinity: 1.020–1.025
