Pseudotropheus Elongatus Neon Spot Malawi African Cichlid Overview: The Pseudotropheus Elongatus Neon Spot, a striking Malawi African Cichlid, captivates with its vibrant colors and elongated body. Its electric blue base is adorned with neon-hued spots, creating a stunning display in any aquarium. Origin: Hailing from the rocky shores of Lake Malawi in Africa, this species thrives in rocky habitats, often found among crevices and caves, displaying its dazzling hues amidst the aquatic landscape. Feeding: These omnivorous beauties eagerly consume high-quality flake or pellet foods, supplemented with occasional offerings of live or frozen fare like brine shrimp and bloodworms. Their diet benefits from variety, enhancing their health and coloration. Tank Mates: Best suited for a species-specific tank or with other Lake Malawi cichlids of similar size and temperament. Avoid housing them with passive or smaller fish as their territorial nature might lead to aggression.
