Pseudotropheus Kingsizei Malawi African Cichlid "Originating from the rocky shores of Lake Malawi in Africa, the Pseudotropheus Kingsizei, also known as the 'Kingsizei Cichlid,' is a stunningly vibrant and robust fish highly sought after in aquariums. Exhibiting striking blue and yellow hues, these cichlids bring an unparalleled visual allure to any tank. Feeding these omnivorous fish is relatively easy as they accept a variety of foods, including high-quality pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen treats like brine shrimp or bloodworms. While they possess a bold and assertive demeanor, their aggression can be managed in a spacious tank with ample hiding spots and territory divisions. However, caution is advised when selecting tank mates; compatible species include other Lake Malawi cichlids with similar size and temperament. Their spirited nature and tendency to establish territories make them more suitable for intermediate to experienced aquarists familiar with handling moderately aggressive fish. Maintaining stable water parameters within the pH range of 7.5-8.5, temperature between 76-82°F (24-28°C), and providing a rocky setup resembling their natural habitat ensures their well-being and vibrant colors shine through."Above images for illustration purposes only.
