The Purple Firefish is an omnivore that feeds on small crustaceans, worms, and algae in the wild. In captivity, it readily accepts a varied diet of high-quality frozen or live foods, as well as herbivore preparations.Tank Mates
While generally peaceful, the Purple Firefish can be territorial towards its own species and other similarly-shaped fish. Suitable tank mates include peaceful fish of different shapes and sizes, as well as invertebrates like shrimp and snails.Aggression Level
