• Scientific Name: Tylomelania sp.
• Max Size: ~10cm
• Temperature Range: 27-30°C
• pH Range: 7.5-8.5, need high pH but soft water (<8dH)
• Compatibility: Peaceful, great addition to specialist shrimp aquariums
• Plant Safe: Yes, but may eat some soft/delicate varieties
• Area Of Origin: Sulawesi, Indonesia
• Suitable Foods: Will graze on algae and plant material, though their diets should be supplemented with some snail-specific pellets/wafers
• Special Requirements: Keep alone or in small groups, ensure stable water parameters, ensure aquarium is well-oxygenated, acclimate carefully (drip acclimation recommended), prefer dim light, sensitive to lots of aquarium treatments/medications (check to see if they are snail-safe), copper is toxic to snails even in small quantities, additional calcium is necessary for healthy shell development

How is this Rabbit Snail delivered?

All of our aquatic animals are dispatched from our livestock distributor and delivered directly to your door. Our distributor dispatches and delivers livestock packages on Wednesday and Thursday to avoid animals being in transit over the weekend.

After placing your livestock order, you will receive all the information needed to track your livestock order via email. If you have any problems regarding delivery, or concerns about the health/wellbeing of your animal(s) upon arrival, please contact us, Swell UK Ltd, immediately, or at least within 48 hours of receiving your livestock order.

Any other, non-livestock items that you purchase alongside livestock will be sent via standard or express delivery and arrive at your delivery address in a different package. This means that, depending on when you place your order, you may receive your non-livestock items before or after your livestock package.
