Red Mouthbrooding Severum Cichlid Heros Liberifer Description The vibrantly coloured Red Mouthbrooder Severum is a recently described species from the Orinoco and Atabapo river drainages in Colombia and Venezuela. Adult fish in breeding condition colour up to a deep reddish-pink and are easily the most attractive of the wild forms of Severum. Relatively easy to breed in aquaria, as the name implies this species is a mouthbrooder which exhibits strong parental care Origin: Wild Colombia Locale: Rio Atabapo Diet: Pellet, flake, Invertebrates, small fish, fruits & vegetables, frozen foods Adult Size: 8″ Recommended Tank Size: 75 gallons (300l) Compatibility: Aggressive: Best kept with similarly sized fish pH: 6.0 – 7.2 Temp: 78-84FAbove images for illustration purposes only.
