Red Robin Gourami Colisa Chuna 3cm Overview: The Red Robin Gourami, scientifically known as Colisa chuna, is a stunning and vibrant freshwater fish prized for its striking red coloration and peaceful demeanor. Originating from the slow-moving waters of India, these fish are a delightful addition to any community aquarium. Origin: Hailing from the lush waters of India, Red Robin Gouramis thrive in warm, well-filtered aquariums reminiscent of their native habitats. Feeding: These gouramis are omnivorous, enjoying a varied diet of high-quality flakes, pellets, live, or frozen foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp. Their diet can also include blanched vegetables for added nutrition. Tank Mates: Known for their peaceful nature, Red Robin Gouramis make excellent tank mates for other peaceful community fish such as tetras, rasboras, and peaceful bottom dwellers like Corydoras catfish. Avoid aggressive or fin-nipping species to ensure their well-being. Aggression: Typically peaceful, Red Robin Gouramis might exhibit territorial behavior towards their own species or similar-looking gouramis. Provide ample hiding spots and space to reduce potential conflicts. Experience Level: Suitable for aquarists of varying experience levels, these gouramis are generally hardy and adaptable to well-maintained aquarium conditions.
